A few days ago, NDRC spokesperson Meng Wei said that new energy vehicles fell sharply in the first half of the year and began to show a continued upward trend in July. It is expected that the overall automotive industry will return to the level of the previous year this year.
According to the news, the decline of new energy vehicles in the first half of the year was relatively large. In July, it began to show a continued upward trend. In November, the production and sales of 198,000 vehicles and 200,000 vehicles were completed, an increase of 75% and 105% year-on-year; The cumulative production of vehicles was 1.093 million, and the sales volume was 1.109 million. Referring to 2019, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 1.242 million and 1.206 million respectively. The automobile industry is expected to recover to the level of the previous year as a whole this year. Among them, the main economic indicators such as added value are better than last year, with production and sales reaching about 25 million vehicles. The production and sales of new energy vehicles are expected to exceed the previous year.
According to the data released by the China Automobile Association in November 2020, the Chinese auto market achieved a total output of 2.847 million vehicles, an increase of 9.6% year-on-year; sales of 2.77 million vehicles, an increase of 12.6% year-on-year. From January to November 2020, the cumulative production and sales volume of China's auto market was 22.372 million and 22.47 million, respectively, down 3% and 2.9% year-on-year, and the rate of decline further narrowed.
Comments:
The huge impact of this year’s epidemic has had a significant impact on the Chinese auto market. However, referring to the current data, it is already something to be proud of that the Chinese auto market can recover to such a level.
